Well, they got divorced and therefore changed my life forever. I have supported my mom through divorce and major drinking issues. Today, after years of her arguing and sometimes being silent or mean to me, I decided that (partly because I turned 50 and mostly because of health issues) I have decided to forgive everyone and live in peace. I took the train to cross the country and visit her with my youngest son (who she hasn’t seen for 12 years) and she is ignoring me and my dad trying to support me through this heart ache.

So I know what they were doing when they were my age and I also know what they’re doing now🥺
