Parmi tous les magnifiques aspects de la basilique j’ai été fascinée par les vitraux: immenses, détaillés, colorés, pleins de sens et captivants. Il y en a même un avec les signes du zodiaque. Cela m’a beaucoup surprise de constater non pas que l’horoscope est finalement très ancien mais qu’il a sa place dans un édifice religieux.

La lumière du soleil qui passe à travers les vitraux donne un rendu vraiment remarquable que je n’arrive pas à prendre en photo. C’est beaucoup plus joli de ses yeux vu!

Bref vous l’aurez compris, j’ai adoré cet endroit dont j’avais oublié l’existence depuis les cours d’histoire du lycée.

Among all the magnificent aspects of the basilica, I was fascinated by the stained glass windows: huge, detailed, colorful, meaningful, and captivating. There is even one with the signs of the zodiac. I was very surprised to discover not only that horoscopes are actually very old, but also that they have a place in a religious building.

The sunlight shining through the stained glass windows creates a truly remarkable effect that I can’t capture in a picture. It’s much prettier to see with your own eyes!

In short, as you can tell, I loved this place, which I had forgotten about since my high school history classes.
